Too often the process of delivering Affordable Housing Policy requirements is adversarial and costly. Through her experience in the public, private and housing association sectors Anna has a first-hand understanding of the different agendas involved. Her experience ensures clients reach their goals smoothly and in a cost-effective way to achieve a win-win-win for investors, housing providers and the community.
The Winchburgh Core Development Area covers 1,100 acres north of Winchburgh, West Lothian and will involve the development of 3,450 homes and massive infrastructure investment including 4 primary schools, 2 secondary schools, roads, public transport links including a new railway station and a new junction to the M9. The area also requires 15% of the new housing provision to be social rent and 10% to be other affordable housing tenures. Anna Evans Housing Consultancy has been appointed by LxB Properties to advise on delivery options for the affordable housing, support LxB in navigating the Scottish affordable housing policy and financial system and to assist in identifying suitable housing association partners.
